Recycled Robots

Today, Springwood Library was taken over by marvellous robotic creations. I’m sure they must’ve been at the library to get some sci-fi books.

The library staff had been kindly collecting their recyclables for this class for ages, and I'm over the moon about the variety of objects we could use today.

The kids used sticky tape, staples, electrical tape and masking tape (my personal favourite) to connect the pieces and create amazing robots.

Great work everyone!!

Summer Story Zines

What’s a zine? it's a mini, homemade magazine. You make it about something you’re interested in, and make it the way you want it to look.

Artist Liam Benson and I taught a Summer Story Zines workshop at Springwood Library these school holidays - have a look below at some of the fun zines made!
