Today in Springwood Library Art Class we drew overlapping Autumn leaves in oil pastel, across a large piece of paper, and then added a multicoloured, watercolour wash over the top. The results are very pretty!

Hot Air Balloon Art Class @ Blaxland
For this class, I handed out white paper with a light circle printed on about half of it. The class came up with fantastic designs for hot air balloons, using the faint circle as a starting point for the balloon shape. They used lead pencil to draw in the details first, then decorated the balloons with colour pencils and textas to make the designs really pop. The class was one hour long, but I think with extra time this project would also look great with bright blue skies or landscape backgrounds added behind the balloons.
